Reviews

One of My Favorites!

"I love churros and the cinnamon flavor, so this is one of my favorites. When the sweet tooth strikes these are so much better than eating candy or other sweet snack. Just enough sweetness to satisfy and protein to boot."

— Mark M. (5/5)

I have one Buff bar

"I have one Buff bar a day to help me get to my protein goals and because they are a treat after dinner. This way I don't feel deprived, it is just enough of a treat. And I really like the cinnamon in the Churro Puff."

— Francine L. (5/5)

"flavor is good, texture is too sticky and chewy and it has a weird aftertaste"

— Whitney (3/5)

Horrible delivery experience

"Bars were a complete mess after 3rd party delivery and sat in the sun for 4 hours."

— Jason O. (2/5)

"Do not order these online. They use a weird shipping company and no matter what you do they will show up melted and destroyed."

— John (1/5)

Good!

"A light cinnamon and chocolate snack! Great quality, taste and texture. If you like churro's then you will enjoy this bar!"

— Jeness (4/5)

"I love almost all of the flavors, but quality control needs some work. Half of the bars were smashed or had weird crystallized sugar or residue on the outside of the bars (not the sugar like on the sour ones ). The previous batch i received were inedible due to a bad ingredient. I want to continue to buy Built, but theyre way too expensive to get bad ones every couple batches."

— Matthew (2/5)

The hint of cinnamon crystals

"The hint of cinnamon crystals on rope is perfect!"

— Tonya R. (5/5)

Winner!

"Love the churro flavor! This one is definitely a winner!"

FAQ's

How many grams of protein are in one bar?

17 grams of BUILT's high-quality Premium Collagen Protein Blend (Partially hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, Collagen)

This blend delivers fast-absorbing, high-quality protein from whey to support muscle recovery and growth, while collagen helps strengthen joints, skin, hair, and connective tissue. Together, they give you both performance and beauty benefits in one clean protein source.

Does it taste good or is it chalky?

BUILT Churro Puff tastes as close as you can get to churros and chocolate; soft, fluffy, more like a marshmallow texture than a typical protein bar. It’s not chalky at all.

Does it actually taste like a candy bar, or more like a protein bar?

Definitely more like a candy bar. The texture is soft and fluffy, more like a light, airy marshmallow than a chewy, crunchy, or dense traditional protein bar.

How much sugar does it have?

It has just 7 grams of sugar, a relatively low amount for a protein bar that actually tastes like a real treat.

Real sugar is often preferred over artificial sweeteners because it delivers cleaner flavor with no aftertaste, is easier for most people to digest, and avoids the bloating or digestive issues that some sugar alcohols can cause.

Does it have an artificial or lingering aftertaste?

No, it doesn’t have an artificial or lingering aftertaste. Thanks to real sugar and the Premium Collagen Protein Blend (partially hydrolyzed whey protein isolate + collagen), the flavor stays clean and smooth from the first bite to the last.

What sweeteners does it use?

Churro Puff uses sugar as the main sweetener, along with glycerin (which adds a mild sweetness and helps with texture).
