Very disappointed with my latest

"Very disappointed with my latest purchase. The bars taste like soap! They aren't even eatable. I've purchased s several single bars in the past from my grocery store and they did not taste like this at all. I feel like these bars were old because some of them were covered with a white film. I have asked for a refund but haven't gotten a response from the Built company."

Doesn't taste like coconut

"I tried the Coconut bars thinking it may taste like a Mounds candy bar. Boy was I wrong. I threw it out after 1 bite. These do not taste like Coconut at all! The after taste was really bad. I can't even describe the taste, it was that bad"

Decent

"The flavor is decent but when delivered by mail, every box came with all melted bars and its like the fat/greasy/crisco type ingredient separated from the outside chocolate covering and all I could taste was flavorless waxy stuff."

"We love all of the flavors, we've tried almost all of them. Knocking off a couple of stars because the bars are somewhat smashed/flat/melted when we receive them. Shipping is a bit slow, that may be contributing to the state of the bars when we get them."

Hey do you like the

"Hey do you like the flavor and that they genuinely taste like chocolate but if you order them online they always come warped crinkled or smushed from Shipping. I realize that isn't the company's fault but more likely the shipper but it will be playing a role in my decisions to purchase online moving"

Built Bar Review

"I absolutely love Built Bars, but I think the packaging really affected my experience with this particular flavor. The bars arrived stuck to the wrappers, and each one was dis formed in its own way. The flavor itself wasn’t my favorite either, but I genuinely think it could have tasted better if the bars hadn’t melted during shipping. I really think you guys should consider using some type of temperature controlled or insulated packaging for your bars. I know companies do this for ice cream and other temperature sensitive products. It might be more expensive, but I think there has to be a way to make it work, and it could ultimately improve the customer experience and product quality. For this particular bar, I’d give it a 3/10. However, great job on the Pumpkin Chunk Cookie one! That one is an 8/10 and was actually pretty good! Of course, I’ll keep ordering because Built Bars are still my favorite protein bars. I just wanted to share some feedback and encourage you guys to reconsider how the bars are packaged for shipping. I think improving this could make a big difference in the customer experience and help you build even more loyal customers. Cheers!"

Coconut box was awful!

"I’m so disappointed! It’s been a while now since I complained about the coconut bars I bought that tasted awful and were a different color inside. I spoke with customer service and they had given me some credit to purchase more bars. I thought by now this was fixed and bars were pulled so I ordered a variety box with them in it and a box of 4. I made sure I notated which ones were in the variety box and which were in the individual box. . The Variety box bars were normal. However the individual box was the same I reported before. I had to throw the box of them away. They were awful. It’s very frustrating to have this still going on."
