Reviews

Pretty good.

"This one was decent. I love coffee but I was hesitant on this because I don’t typically like coffee flavored desserts. I feel like it has more of an artificial coffee aftertaste, but it’s still pretty good."

— Tiffany G. (4/5)

"Not as advertised. Reached out to customer service and they pretty much said “it’s normal to have missing chunks”. Do not buy from the company; low quality items and awful customer service."

— Ashley (1/5)

Best bar’s in the market

"Build is my favorite bar ever it taste nothing like a protein bar. It taste like a candy bar with marshmallow and I hate marshmallows, but I love Built."

— Jennifer W. (5/5)

Best. Flavor. Ever!

"Best flavor Built makes. I wish it wasn't a limited edition. From the Facebook comments on their ads, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Get rid of one of the other not popular flavors and make this year round!!!"

— Letitia L. (5/5)

Love them

"I love these ones so much. I wasn't sure if I would actually get the mocha flavor but you do. I had to share these with some friends. I can't decide which one i like better these or the cookie butter. Omg my new obsession for sure."

— Bobbi F. (5/5)

"The mocha chunk is the perfect combination of the classic brownie batter with an indulgent after taste of coffee. It brings Chocolate to the next level. I’ve waited all year for it to come back in stock."

— Debra (5/5)

Love these

"These are by far the best mocha bars you have put out. Love the hint of coffee & not too overpowering. I'll purchase these again."

— Debra K. (5/5)

Love love love

"I am so glad I found these puff bars. Mocha is one of my favorite flavors! When the sweet tooth hits these do the trick! Will buy more and more!"

— Jennifier L. (5/5)

"MELTED !! I thought I waited long enough for them to arrive not melted. Chocolate mess! I have them in the freezer and I hope they end up edible. Note to self: DON'T BUY 120.00 WORTH OF BUILT BARS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!"

FAQ's

How many grams of protein are in one bar?

15 grams of BUILT's high-quality Premium Collagen Protein Blend (Partially hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, Collagen)

This blend delivers fast-absorbing, high-quality protein from whey to support muscle recovery and growth, while collagen helps strengthen joints, skin, hair, and connective tissue. Together, they give you both performance and beauty benefits in one clean protein source.

Does it taste good or is it chalky?

BUILT Mocha Chunk Puff tastes incredibly good; soft, fluffy, and more like a chocolate covered marshmallowy mocha cookie treat than a typical protein bar. It’s not chalky at all.

Is the texture chewy, soft, crunchy, or dense?

The texture is soft and fluffy, more like a light, airy marshmallow than a chewy, crunchy, or dense traditional protein bar.

How much sugar does it have?

It has just 9 grams of sugar, a relatively low amount for a protein bar that actually tastes like a real treat.

Real sugar is often preferred over artificial sweeteners because it delivers cleaner flavor with no aftertaste, is easier for most people to digest, and avoids the bloating or digestive issues that some sugar alcohols can cause.

Does it have an artificial or lingering aftertaste?

No, it doesn’t have an artificial or lingering aftertaste. Thanks to real sugar and the Premium Collagen Protein Blend (partially hydrolyzed whey protein isolate + collagen), the flavor stays clean and smooth from the first bite to the last.

What sweeteners does it use?

Mocha Chunk Puff uses sugar as the main sweetener, along with glycerin (which adds a mild sweetness and helps with texture).
